House Handover Ceremony Among the Cyclone Mocha Affected Families
Newly Constructed House Handover Ceremony among the Cyclone Mocha affected families at Kutubdia upazila, Cox’s Bazar on the Independent day, 26 March 2024.
On the 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh ACLAB has celebrated a handover ceremony of 5 newly constructed houses, 5 renovated houses, 5 new latrines, 5 renovated latrines, and 5 tube well, 20 goats among 25 families of Cyclone Mocha affected at Kutubdia Upazila, Cox’s Bazar with the presence of BRAC and other local public representatives and CBOs. On the program 2 pair pigeons, 10 trees for planting also distributed at Kutubdia to the affected families under this project. The project is supported by DFAT-Australian Aid, through BRAC and implemented by ACLAB.
Beside this, 38 new houses constructed, 35 houses repaired, 35 new latrines constructed, 35 latrines renovated, 35 tube well platform installed, 68 goat distributed and 50 home based garden raised at Saint Martin’s island and Subrung-Union of Teknaf Upazila, Jaliapalong-union of Ukhiya Upazila, and Kutubdia-Upazila of Cox’s Bazar among 1500 beneficiaries of 296 families of cyclone Mocha affected under this project.
